Fitzgerald Auto Mall of Chambersburg PA, has been awarded a 2015 DealerRaterÒ Consumer Satisfaction Award, a recognition that auto dealerships can earn by delivering outstanding customer service as rated by online consumer reviews. Consumer Satisfaction Awards will be given annually to the top 10 percent of U.S. new-car dealers based on their PowerScoreÔ, as well as all U.S. used-car and Canadian (new and used) car dealerships that meet DealerRater’s Dealer of the Year criteria—receiving at least 25 annual reviews and maintaining an average PowerScore rating of 4.0 out of 5.0.

Fitzgerald Toyota Celebrates 25 Years

Toyota Motor Company recognized Fitzgerald Toyota on their 25^th anniversary in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with a Crystal Star award.

Fitzgerald Toyota opened its doors on March 19, 1989, with a promise to provide great service, upfront prices, and a personal commitment to the community.  The dealership has grown from humble beginnings of just 38 employees to 114 people today.  “I would like to say thank you to our community and our staff for their years of support to make this achievement possible” said John Fitzgerald III, the Dealer Principal.

Fitzgerald Auto Mall was founded in 1966 by Jack Fitzgerald. His son, John, continues the tradition of excellent customer service with no haggle, no hassle posted prices on every new and used car.  “Customers deserve to be treated with honesty and respect, and our sales process aims to do just that.” said Jack Fitzgerald, founder and CEO. 

As a part of the Chambersburg community, last November, Fitzgerald Toyota presented a new 2013 Toyota Sienna to Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter as part of the Toyota 100Cars for Good program, a major philanthropic initiative in which Toyota gave away 100 cars to 100 nonprofits over the course of 100 days, based on votes from the public.

2013 Earth Day Essay Winner

2013 Fitzgerald Auto Mall Earth Day Essay Winner

Noor Qureshi, from Laytonsville Elementary School, won an iPod Touch for first prize of the 2013 Fitzgerald Auto Mall Earth Day Essay Contest! We received 1,300 entries to the contest this year and had a total of 10 winners. After reading all of the essays we were impressed by the level of concern by our youth for the environment. Great job, Noor!

The Earth Day Essay Contest, held by Fitzgerald Auto Mall, encouraged children to read a book with a theme of improving our Earth through reducing, reusing, and recyling. Next, they were asked to write a one-page essay on what they learned from the book and how they will apply this knowledge to their everyday life at home and at school. Children had to be 12 years of age or younger to be eligible to win the Grand Prize - an iPod Touch. Nine additional entries won bookstore gift certificates. Additionally, the school with the most entries will receive a donation for their library.
